AURORA – The scheduling commission despatched a good advice to Town Council on Dec. 7 to grant a conditional zoning certification for a professional medical business with out of doors facilities at 239 E. Garfield Road.

The subject was on Council’s Dec. 12 assembly agenda for closing motion.

Rebecca Waud of Solon, who operates Excellent Character Therapy Companies, options to open up an indoor/out of doors occupational/physical treatment and speech pathology clinic for small children on the north facet of East Garfield Street just east of Aurora Rose Dance Academy.

The 2-acre residence is zoned C-1 shopping district. It is surrounded by household zoning to the north – on the other side of American Transmission System’s new electric power line – and business to the west, south and east.

At former meetings, Waud said her business at present is an occupational remedy exercise that is effective with children outdoor in nature. It seeks to extend its occupational therapy products and services and include actual physical treatment and speech/language pathology products and services.
